Procurement is recognised by Yarlington Housing Group as being critical to delivering improved efficiencies, value for money, social wellbeing and a great quality of service to our customers.
The purchase of all goods, services and works needed to enable Yarlington to achieve the needs of our customers can be anything from stationery to new housing development schemes. Therefore, the process of procurement can vary.
Yarlington has set procurement thresholds that determine the procurement processes we follow. For more detailed information and advice on procurement procedures download Yarlington’s guide to 'Working with Yarlington'.
For all higher value procurements that exceed the European Union (EU) thresholds, a competitive tendering process will be followed in accordance with the EU procurement regulations.
Yarlington ensures that social value is central to all our activities, and Procurement is a key area where this can be achieved. We are keen to understand the wider benefits that could be achieved for the community (eg, the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area) for every £1 we spend. This could include improving local employment and training opportunities, environmental improvement, and becoming a Living Wage Employer.
If you would like to work with us then please ensure you read our Guide for Suppliers - Yarlington's Code of Conduct and review our Yarlington Standard Terms and Conditions available under the useful downloads tabs on this page.
The Procurement Portal (for requirements over 50k)
All of our larger procurement is tendered through our procurement portal; www.advantageswtenders.co.uk. This is a shared portal which details contract opportunities from a
growing number of South West based housing organisations. This site will
allow you to register as a prospective supplier (free of charge), view
tendering opportunities and receive automatic email notifications for
requirements that match your profile.
The Internal Procurement Database
If your organisation is interested in working with Yarlington, please
register using the form 'Working with Yarlington - expression of
interest' in the menu to the left of this page. Specify the goods, works or
services you are able to offer. We maintain a database of interested
suppliers and will send you details as and when opportunities
arise. Alternatively, you can email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org
