What type of properties will be available?

·      1 x 3 Bedroom House

·      2 x 2 Bedroom Houses

 

Who is eligible?

You will need to have a local connection. We will allocate the properties to applicants in this order:

 

1)   Being permanently resident in the village of West Hill for at least 3 years immediately prior to being offered a property.

2)   Previously being a permanent resident in the village of West Hill for a continuous period of 5 years.

3)   Being employed in the village of West Hill for 16 or more hours a week, for a continuous period of at least 12 months immediately prior to being offered a property.

4)   Having a connection through a close family member (Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Son or Daughter) where the family member is currently resident in the village of West Hill and has been for a continuous period of at least 5 years immediately prior to being offered a property and where there is independent evidence that the family member is in need of support or can give support.

5)   In the event that no one satisfies the above requirements in the village of West Hill, the process will be repeated considering persons from the following areas in the following priority order:

 

-     The Parish of Ottery St Mary

-     The Neighbouring Parishes

-     Persons from the District

 

When will the properties be available?

The properties will be ready to move in April 2017.

 

How do I apply?

The properties will be advertised through www.DevonHomeChoice.com from 15th – 20th March. Anyone wishing to be considered for a property will need to be registered and place a bid.
