Yarlington Housing Group reports to its own Board. The Board consists of nine members, one of whom is a co-optee. Their aim is to provide a total commitment to affordable housing.
The role of the Board at Yarlington is to provide strategic advice and direction to the Management Team and ensure that Yarlington meets corporate governance laws and the standards of practice for Registered Providers.

Lindy was previously Director of The Sovereign Development Consortium and has extensive knowledge of housing issues in the region and nationally via a range of activities and employment, including tenant and community involvement, local authority strategy and housing association development. Key skills include strategic thinking, good leadership, motivational qualities and partnership working, which she delivers using effective communication and management skills.

Wayne is an experienced housing professional with nearly 25 years working at Chief Executive level within major housing associations in the south west, notably Spectrum Housing Group (2007-13). Wayne holds a number of non-executive directorships in the housing sector including Yarlington Housing Group, Yarlington Homes Ltd and Asra Housing Group (London) where he is chair of the Governance and Remuneration Committee. Wayne is also a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

John has 20 years experience in managing social housing at a senior level nationally, leading on numerous projects including community empowerment and regeneration.
John also possesses specialist knowledge and experience in business analysis across a range of industry sectors including housing, automotive, pharmaceutical and business services. John is a partner in a Fashion and Retail Consultancy, with a key focus on leadership and the development and delivery of business strategy.

Ray is a self-employed consultant working in the financial services industry, with expertise in finance and risk with significant experience in the mortgage lending industry having held two executive main board appointments.

Michael is a retired, highly experienced real estate lawyer who worked as a Partner of Hogan Lovells International LLP for over 30 years. Michael specialised in development, financing and investment. Michael is also Vice-Chair of Vivid Homes (previously Sentinel Housing Group).

Jo is Finance and Commercial Director at Bristol Community Health. Joanna was also the Finance Director and Company Secretary at United Communities and prior to that was the Audit Manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Richard is a qualified surveyor and has worked in the housing industry for over 30 years with the last 16 spent at Summerfield developments in Taunton, where he specialises in marketing and sales. During Richard's work in development he has carried out extensive market research which has steered scheme design, advised on the products that should be built and managed the marketing of new properties. With his previous experience, Richard has a sound knowledge of the south west housing market.

Gary has been Group Chief Executive since 2011. He was formally CEO of the ALMO Homes in Sedgemoor and prior to that held a number of senior executive positions within regional and national housing organisations. His career began in 1996 as a housing trainee at Clanmil Housing Association in Northern Ireland where he is now a non-executive Board Member.

Caroline joined Yarlington from Pricewaterhouse Coopers where she specialised in providing consultancy and audit services to the housing sector in the south west and nationally. Caroline is also a Board member of Yarlington Homes Ltd, a non-commercial director on the board of Yeovil District Hospital, and chair of their audit committee.
